NetBop is awarded BT Local Business Partner status

Tuesday, 13th January 2015

Swansea City Centre's leading Web Development company NetBop, has been granted status as BT Local Business Partner.

Last year BT's Local Business team, which operates out of Cardiff Gate, initiated a partnership programme across Wales and within 12 months aims to have 25 partners Pan-Wales. NetBop is among the first to receive the status.

NetBop is now able to access of the commercial products and services from BT's full range and in many cases is able to access privileged pricing.

Speaking of the news, NetBop's Managing Director Andrew Downie said:

“We were delighted to be approached by BT for the partnership. Across the business sectors we operate in, we are often questioned on many aspects of telecoms and it is not an area we have expertise in. “

“Our clients can now have direct access into a specialist BT team here in Wales where they will be treated as a 'name and not a number' and BT issues can be resolved quickly without needing to call BT's main customer care line.“

“Several of our clients have already found the partnership highly beneficial and with the current delays in the rollout of fire broadband, we are seeing our clients choosing BT Bonded Broadband (combining multiple broadband lines).“

BT's Local Business network was established in 2002 as a pilot scheme and has since proved so successful that it has grown to just over 45 areas across the UK, serving more than 1.2 million businesses. BT Local Business Partners are typically offered to range of industries ranging from IT, Commercial Property Management, County Councils, Education organisations and not-for-profit organisations.
